More Wax

True to the spirit of “Madonna Tribers” that love to interact in our news page, our friend Jonah sent a picture of another Madonna Wax figure, as it seems the previous two we posted didn’t pass unnoticed:

“Hey just to add to all the Madonna Wax Models here are some shots of the 2 models that reside in Madame Tussauds in New York City.
These photos were taken at the beginning of August this year just before I flew to London to witness the “REAL” Madonna in action at
Earls Court. I have to say that the first model (photo 1 and 2), found in the “Garden” as you enter Madame Tussauds is IMO the better of all the models
I’ve seen, including the one at MT London – which as you can see is and almost identical model except the NY one is roughly modeled on
her “Drowned World Tour” period (including the rhinestone jewels on the bottom of her pants) I think this one has a better face.
Trust me, my photos don’t do it justice, you really have to see it in person to see the incredible likeness from all angles.

Sad point about MT New York is that downstairs in the “Popular Culture” section they still have the somewhat ‘ugly’ model based on her
“Who’s That Girl World Tour” that has been there since the NY branch opened several years back. As you can see this is an extremely
poor likeness.
