I won pit passes to the June 16th show in New York. I was so shocked. You see, I have been waiting at least 18 years to just see Madonna in concert and the first time I see her is from the pit. It was truly amazing.

I had made eye contact with Madonna a couple of times, however, I could not get her to touch my hand. Then, during “Imagine,” we made eye contact once again and I kept stretching my arms up to her.

Then, she reached out her hand and grasped my palm. I gave her hand a little squeeze and she squeezed back!! As she was releasing my hand, she tilted her head slightly and smiled at me. While all this was happening, it was like everything around me went quiet and we were the only two people in the arena. It was an amazing moment!

It was definitely worth waiting 18 years to see/touch Madonna. It was also my first trip to New York. But, nothing there could compare to Madonna.

Thank you Madonna for making my dream come true!!!
