Our reader Gina wants to share her experience of the re-Invention tour and let us know how special and important this event was in her life…

“I can not tell you how wonderful her re-invention tour was in Las Vegas, NV. We live in Monterey, CA. My husband bought my daughter Lexi and I tickets for a surprise. Boy was it the best surprise of my life.

Madonna concert in fact her first concert ever. You see she was diagnosed with cancer a few years back when we found a tumor on her clavicle. I think it was the most terrible time of my life. She has been in remission for 5 years, at least. I was going to name her Madonna when she was born, but agreements with family members, I decided not to.

My little Lexi had such a great time and this concert I think was geared for teenagers as well as adults. When my daughter was a few years old I taught her all of Madonna‘s songs. She sang all of them at the concert. It was the cutest thing I have seen in a long time. Now I have a son who is mentally challenged and he loves Madonna as well. When he is a little bit older I hope to bring both my children to one of her concerts (if she goes out on tour again, I HOPE).

Sorry for such a lenghthy e=mail but I had to let somebody know. FYI – I have been a faithful Madonna fan since I first saw her on American Bandstand. I will never forget the words “I’m gonna rule the world”
