Papa can sing

Actor Danny Aiello, who was Madonna‘s father in the 1986 video Papa don’t preach is recording his first album.

The cd called “I Just Wanted To Hear The Words” will be released in April.

The 70 year old Aiello, whose screen credits include “Do the Right Thing,” “Moonstruck” with Cher and Mambo Cafe” with Thalia has sung in a few of his films and on a video he made in answer to “Papa Don’t Preach“.
Aiello appeared with Madonna in her video, and then made his own, “Papa Wants the Best for You,” which portrayed the point of view of the father.
