Our reader Rashad send us his Madonna’s concert review on 23rd of August at Wembley Arena.
“It was really exciting day, I could not sleep at all the night before the concert. I could not believe that I am gonna see her the first time in my life!
Day started really miserable it was raining all night through and was not planning to stop at all. By the time I got to to hotel next to the Wembley arena it stopped and I relaxed, coz it really was pissing me off.
At five o’clock after shower and short nap I’ve met with my friend from oversees who came here especially to see Madonna. And we went straight away to queue! Crowed around did not seem to be excited at all like we were, they all had so serious faces like they were going to Macroeconomic Development lecture, but by the time around 6:15 when we got inside people became more enthusiastic.
I was really worried about tickets, I heard many rumors that tickets that bought on eBay could be fake and all sorta things, but Thanks Goodness we went through and found our seats. Those almost two ours that we wait there were really excited. People around were talking and laughing and even dancing. So many nice and beautiful faces around, that was really lovely.
Around 8:30 public became impatient and started to call for Madonna, waving hands and applauding.
Here was she. All glamorous and really gorgeous. She was a goddess, the woman of all my dreams. I was living the dream of all my life. I was seeing and listening and devouring her. She was really super. The background of scene was superb. Her voice has never been so cleared, or I never heard so clear and superb, even better than on records. Listening her alive was a real pleasure.
The only time I felt sad, is when she threw her t-shirt Brits do it Better into the crown and someone very lucky got it there. I wish i could get it, but never mind.
No one sat all entire concert, everyone including me and my friend were dancing and applauding there. That was a really great day of my life.
Those two hors went by so quickly that I have not noticed it at all, i wish it would go a couple hours longer.
I also wanted to use this opportunity to say thanks to everyone who left their memories of the Madonna venues where she’s been with concerts. You have taken me into your memories and let me see Madonna with your eyes. That was really nice!
