Re Invention Tour Memorabilia
Our Triber mlvcr1 has had an incredible experience in Chicago before the second show of the re-Invention tour. Here’s the whole story told by our friend…
“Before the show tonight in Chicago, I saw Madonna pull up to the United Center. She pulled up in a black SUV with the window rolled down. As soon as I realized it was the Queen herself I started waving the shirt I had made for the concert which read “Esther Does It Better“. Within a matter of seconds she was gone. I did not think she had seen me or my shirt because she did not make any eye contact with me. So I waited a few minutes and then walked away.
I walked about 3 blocks when I heard someone yelling at me from behind. I turned around and noticed that it was the same woman who was in the same SUV with Madonna. She seemed relieved to have found me and caught up with me. She was running/speed walking in high heels and a mini skirt. She said, “Madonna wants your shirt! She was in a bad mood, and your shirt made her smile. So Madonna would like your shirt.”
I stood there handing my shirt over too her, not being able to say a single word. Luckily my best friend was able to do the talking for me. Madonna‘s personal assistant then gave me two freshly autographed promotional photos. This is my first autographed Madonna item, so you can imagine how excited I was! I gave her a hug, and as soon as she turned around to walk away I started crying like a big baby!
Later on while walking around the United Center, I ran into the security guard who was guarding the entry way before Madonna pulled up. He asked if “that lady had found me” I said she sure did. He then said that as soon as we left she came rushing out to find us. So I thank that Mr. security man for letting her know which way we went!
So I was not lucky enough to win pit tickets, and I was not lucky enough to catch the shirt she tossed out into the audience. But I was lucky enough to make Madonna smile!”
And here’s one of the photos that Madonna herself autographed for our lucky friend mlvcr1 – Click to enlarge
If you wanted to take a closer look at the “Kabbalists Do It Better” t-shirt that Madonna wears on stage during “Papa Don’t Preach” and she throws to the audience at the end of “Crazy For You”, here’s your chance.
MadonnaTribe‘s correspondent from the US, RemixDubBoy had the chance to grab the T-shirt Madonna wore on her second show in Worcester, on July 1st and wants to share this exclusive “vision” with fellow Tribers.
Special thanks to MadonnaTribe Team member Remixdubboy for this exclusive report
RemixDubBoy, also sent us a scan of the ticket and bracelet issued to people lucky enough to be in the pit at the East Rutherford show.
As our readers may have noticed, the colour of the bracelet that gives access to the pit areas is different from venue to venue. This one, for the July 8th show, was coloured in glitter gray.
Our member Joseph sent us a tour souvenir from the San Jose June 9th show of the re-invention tour.
It’s his Pit ticket (you’ll see the section is Pit-R and the cost is $0.00) along with the wristband for the evening, in a turquoise color (I noticed the previous night June 8th, was pink).

Joseph also sent us these photos he took of the wonderful merchandise that is being sold at the various shows of the re-INVENTION tour.
The following pictures are from the Las Vegas leg of the tour at MGM Grand Arena on May 30th 2004.

An now here’s an exclusive look at some more memorabilia from the re-Invention tour from the collection of our personal friend and team member runawayboy.
It’s a pair of sticks used by Steve Sidelnyk
who plays the drums on the re-Invention tour.
As you can see sticks carry Steve’s name and all the tour logos.
Special thanks to our Team member runawayboy and his friends.
MadonnaTribe visitor Amos from Italy sent us a picture and a special story from the re-Invention concert he attended at
Wembley Arena on August 26.
Amos caught Madonna’s t-shirt at the end of Crazy for you, but he was not the only one. Another girl had one part of the shirt in her hands so a woman from the venue security brought the “contenders” outside the venue and cut the t-shirt in two identical parts. In the picture below you can see Amos’ half of the Madonna shirt from that night.
Amos is happy anyway, especially because Madonna made eye contact with him just before throwing the Brits do it better shirt to the audience.
Special thanks to Amos for sharing his experience with The Tribe.
If you are wondering who was so lucky to catch Madonna’s “Kabbalists Do It Better” t-shirt that was back in business at the Re-Invention tour show in Paris on September 2, just have a look at the picture below.
Our friend Fred, a longtime Madonna fan who also wrote a report from the tour’s opening night in Los Angeles for the French magazine “Spotlight” was so happy and sent us this picture of himself taken outside the Palais d’Ominisport right after the show… with the Madonna t-shirt on bien sure!
Special thanks to Fred
MadonnaTribe visitor alanc612 sent a scan of a paper he has been given after being in the Dance pit at Slane Castle
The paper shows all kind of different backstage passes that were used at Slane and now that the tour is over it’s an interesting piece of memorabilia.
As you can see the All Access pass had an unreleased picture of Madonna’s stilettos from one of the Steven Klein photos
Thanks to our reader alanc612 for sharing this memorabilia item with the Tribe
