Ryan’s memorabilia – part two
And here’s the second part of our friend and community member Ryan‘ memorabilia. The following pics come from the Evita promo book as Ryan himself tells you:
“I was a senior in high school when Evita came out, and I worked at Borders
Books and Music. The travelling rep from Warner Brothers was in the store
one day and he had advance copies of the Evita Soundtrack. I got one of
those from him and hounded him for any other promotional merchandise he
might have. He told me he didn’t have anything, but a few days later a
package arrived at the store with my name on it.
Inside was a black cloth banner standing about 6 feet tall with Madonna‘s
image from the soundtrack cover. He also sent me the promotional press
release book that was sent to media sources for use in stories related to
the film.
The book is amazing… very good quality, with an interesting
format. This includes small cardstock half sheets throughout the larger
format pages and some tissue paper “veils” covering some of the images.
It
basically talks about the history of Evita, the production, as well as
some quotes from Madonna.
Enjoy the pics!”
