Silly Thing’s review of last show
Silly_Thing, our reporter from Lisbon is back with his memories from last night’s show.
“I’m back from the last show of the Re-Invention World Tour – it was for sure
the
most emotional show ever!
Madonna arrived at the Pavillion at 4.00 and five minutes before her manager
Caresse Henry. At 5.30 we could hear her rehearsing like we were already
inside… The sound was really high! We could hear perfectly Vogue and Nobody
Knows Me!
I arrived to the Pit Area at 5.45 and I waited there until Alison arrived! She
is really nice and funny and she had a portuguese translator; she was very sad because it was her last show. We entered in the Pavillion through the same gate as Madonna.
The show started at 10.00 and it was even better than the other! There were no
surprises – just the fact that the documentary crew filmed the whole show and
there was a cameraman in the Pit opposite of mine.
Madonna was really really sad and she cried 3 times during the show – the first
was during Lament, then when she was drinking her Kabbalah water and then… oh
my god, she was crying so so hard after Papa Don’t Preach – she even had to use
her skirt to clean her face and all the crowd started to scream: “Madonna,
Madonna…” – it was the most emotional moment of the night!
She didn’t talk much (because she was recording the DVD) but she said something
like: “You are amazing” and “I should’ve done all my shows here“.
The crowd was amazing, like in the other show and the Pit-people were very
excited – I touched her twice.
After the show all the crew, dancers, musicians and Madonna were crying and she
kissed them one by one… There was no encore… Then the documentary crew left
with her…
The Re-Invention Tour is now over but I’m sure that our dream will continue and
we will never forget this magical moments that made us happy and helped us to
re-invent ourselfs.
Love,
Silly_Thing”
