Some rewiews are fine, some a little bit harder
MadonnaTribe has received tons of fan reviews from the re-INVENTION tour. All of them were positive. We now received the first negative review from one of our readers that didn’t like the shown and since we believe people should have the right to express thier point of view anyway, we are publishing this negative fan review as well.
“Let me start off by saying that I am a huge Madonna fan and big collector. And have stayed devoted since the very beginning.
I went to the concert on Wednesday, Opening Night, at NYC MSG. She didn’t come on until almost quarter to
9:00pm. Mind you the video screens were cool and had great images, but I came to see Madonna, not watch TV.
All Madonna songs are great, remember, Im a fan…but bad choice of set list. I never thought that I would SIT a one of her concerts….but (YAWN), I did, so did everyone else who was not sitting on the floor.
Even she said, OK, “no more sitting”. And then SHE
continued to sit and sing more low key songs. As much as she looks great, and probably in better shape than I am, but she’s getting old folks… she was going throught the motions… there was no energy. I just kept thinking back to Drowned World and Blond Ambition.
I felt it was more about the video images than her.
Her voice did sound great, but why synthezised on
certain songs?
That great catwalk, was only used twice. The sets were boring…what was up with the stupid skater?
“Imagine“? Huge mistake! I came to hear Madonna songs and have a good time, not consistently see images of death and sick children.
She barely took any time to acknowledge the crowd, except talk about Micheal Moore‘s film. And then to top it off, the show just ended… No encore… nothing.

I’ve been to all her tours and this by far was the
worst (of the best). And on top of it all, an average
of $75 per t-shirt? after dropping over $300 per
ticket….thats just wrong.
I hope that my review still gets posted, even though
its rather negative.”
