Sweetheart Valentines
As MadonnaTribe reported at the beginning of the year, Hear Music released its latest compilation, Sweetheart – Love Songs, a unique collection of love songs.
Traditionally, Hear Music has been known for producing compilations featuring previously recorded material. A number of “Hear Music” artists contribute to this new album with previously unreleased performances of their favorite love songs.
“We asked our favorite artists to record their favorite love songs,” says Don MacKinnon, founder of Hear Music. “Some of the most distinctive and memorable vocalists and musicians in music today took us up on our request to bring you this romantic bouquet of classic lovesong balladry. Filled with timeless songs to fall in love with and to fall in love to, we were surprised and delighted at what they chose. We hope you agree that each has transformed these lovesongs into highest form of art: the art of love.”
Featuring a mix of classics and more recent pop gems, Sweetheart is an alluring, unexpected mix.
The CD includes “Until You Came Into My Life” by Joe Henry and Miho Hatori‘s version of Madonna‘s “Crazy For You“, and is available in Starbucks Company operated locations and Hear Music retail stores at a retail price of $14.95.
