The Illustrators of The Adventures Of Abdi
MadonnaTribe was informed a while ago that The Adventures of Abdi, the new children’s book by Madonna, will not only have one illustrator, but two.
Now that the book’s release is near, Amazon.com breaks the news that the new tale of the little boy named Abdi, that was given the very big task to deliver the most precious necklace in the world to the queen, is indeed illustrated by Olga Dugina and her husband Andrej Dugin.
Andrej Dugin was born in Moscow in 1955 and worked as a teacher at the Krasnopenskaya Secondary Arts School where he met his wife Olga Kotikova (born in Moscow in 1964).
Dugin studied at the Surikov Arts Institute and worked as an illustrator for Russian magazines and literary publishing houses.
Olga Kotikova Dugina graduated at the Moscow Arts College in 1988 and worked as a designer for a magazine, a cinema and as an illustrator at the Laduga Publishing House. In 1984 Andrej Dugin and Olga Dugina got married. In 1992 Andrej Dugin and Olga Dugina moved to Stuttgart, where they live now.
At the moment the illustrators for Abdi did not complete a portrait of Madonna like the previous illustrators did.
