The Madonna Sphinx

Our dear friend Bilal has always loved this photograph of Madonna by Martin Schreiber from 1979. He likes it because Madonna’s pose reminds him of the Sphinx so he decided to use some digital magic to give a futuristic feel to an ancient classic.

In other words if Madonna was alive in ancient Egypt they would have made a shrine quite like this to worship her because of course she would be the first female Pharoh.
