The Sun Sentinel: Madonna due in Sunrise in July

Madonna, whose Drowned World tour sold out the then-National Car Rental Center in 2001, is returning to the Sunrise venue this summer.

The Material Girl’s July 28 concert at Office Depot Center and Aug. 1 date at Miami’s AmericanAirlines Arena are the last U.S. stops on a tour that begins May 24 in Los Angeles.

According to Billboard.com, there will be no supporting acts, and the set list will be mainly a career retrospective. The tour is produced by Clear Channel Entertainment. On-sale dates are still to be announced.
