The Work of Director Mark Romanek

Our dear friend Robster from MadonnaMad Forum has just found out at Mark Romanek‘s website that a comprehensive retrospective on the director’s body of work is in the works and is set to be released later this year. The Work of Director Mark Romanek is currently in production by Palm Pictures as part of their new “director’s label” series. The collection will join during year 2004 the three volumes already available about the work of Spike Jonze, Michel Gondry, and Chris Cunningham (which includes Madonna’s Frozen).

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Mark Romanek has directed two acclaimed Madonna videos: Rain in 1993 and Bedtime Story in 1995.

The new release will include interviews with most – if not all – of the artists Romanek has worked with, a full-color fifty page booklet, and an extensive assortment of bonus materials.
