Mr McConnell‘s attempt to embrace cutting-edge fashion by going non-tartan and sporran-free at the Dressed to Kilt fashion show earlier this month impressed few commentators in Scotland. The garment, apparently chosen at the last minute, was designed by Howie Nicklesby, whose contemporary pleated creations in silk, PVC, denim tweed and leather, have been worn by celebrities including Madonna, the actor Vin Diesel and Robbie Williams.Source:Scotsman
