Women’s Wear Daily magazine has on the cover today a sketch of a Madonna costume for the re-INVENTION tour designed by Christian Lacroix.

Los Angeles – When Madonna kicks off her “Re-invention” tour here Monday night, she’ll be bringing along lots of her friends – at least fashion-wise. The icon has asked such designers as Christian Lacroix, who did the crystal-studded corset seen here; Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel; Dolce & Gabbana, and Stella McCartney to reinterpret some of the key looks from her past extravaganzas. And the styles are sure to reverberate through the fashion world.
