Tribe Press – Rupert, Elton and Madonna on the Daily Mirror
The Daily Mirror reprises today the Elton and Madonna saga with the Rupert Everett‘s comment we already published yesterday.
This appears to be a useless never ending story. Let’s hope the Uk press will be bored with it soon but we’re sure Sir Elton will strike back.
Luvvie Rupert Everett has branded Sir Elton John “very bossy and cranky” following the singer’s bad-tempered outburst against Madonna.
Rupert, who starred with the Material Girl in The Next Best Thing, made his comments after Elton blasted Madge for miming on tour.
The actor said: “I don’t understand what he’s got against her.
“Any singer who dances like that will understand you don’t have the breath to sing all the time. Everyone knows that. It’s unfair to make it a point. If you do a heavy dance routine, at some point you’re going to do a bit of lip-synch. She sings everything she can but if she goes into a dance routine then she has got to dance.
“You can’t breathe and dance and sing at the same time. She doesn’t lip-synch her whole set.
“He’s very bossy these days, I think. I mean he’s lovely but he is a bit bossy – and he does seem a bit cranky.”
Hmm. Elton “a bit cranky”. Isn’t that like saying the Pope’s “a bit of a Catholic”?
