Tribe Spotlight on artist Joseph Lawrence Vasile
Today MadonnaTribe puts the spotlight on an artist called Joseph Lawrence Vasile.
Joseph has created over 25 paintings of Madonna and 7 of them were featured in the book Madonna in Art compiled by Mem Mehmet that MadonnaTribe promoted a few months ago. One of Joseph’s portraits was featured on our portrait of the month from that book.
Joseph Lawrence Vasile was interviewed in his Miami studio for Madonna’s documentary movie. He met the director at the Official Madonna
Reinvention party in Miami and he was very interested in Joseph’s work.
Joseph is also featured in an article on the first issue of Splash Magazine, a Florida
magazine. He helped launch the magazine this weekend at three different venues
Naples, Tampa, and Ft Myers. Rupaul and Tony Moran were also on hand to launch
Splash.
