Here’s a review of the re-Invention tour by our community member ShadowBoxer.

“Madonna was great the second night of the show in NJ. Before starting Material Girl she asked the fans to help her out as the song is so old she too has forgotten the words. She messed up the first verse completely, but took it all playfully. The crowd definately wasn’t the best though, a lot of people were sitting down and getting up to get stuff to eat.

She made fun of the people sitting down, asking them if they were tired and she said ‘United we stand, united we fall‘ before Imagine.
I personally love her rendition of ‘Imagine‘, i don’t know why a lot of fans have said she should’nt have sung it, she does sing it better than John Lennon ever did.
The funniest part is when she took a towel after Papa Don’t Preach and wiped her armpits stating that ‘It hot in here’ she had also done this the night before. After Crazy For You, she took of her shirt and told the crowd ‘not to fight over it’,which of course they did. She’s so cute, and the show is great.
Two more shows left for me in Ft. Lauderdale and Paris. I can’t wait to see her from a standing crowd! ”
