Our friend Lana was back to see Madonna on her final night in Chicago. Here’s what she has to say.
“I went back to see Madonna on Thursday, her last night in Chicago. This time I was wearing my Into-The-Groove-kilt outfit, and believe it or not, the concert was better than on Sunday (my first night) Why? Because there is so much stuff going on stage that I could pay more attention to other things the second time around.
The Bedtime Story video was absolutely amazing. She looked radiant on it. Love the tango section during Die Another Day, and Nobody Knows Me (one of my fave from American Life) was a pretty cool performance in which she looked joyful and happy. This time she brought back the Kabbalist Do It Better shirt.
During Holiday, she wanted people to take off their shirts, and yeah…I was toppless!!!! (until security came over! hahaha) It was so freaking hilarious. Shirts were flying everywhere, even toward the stage. Even though I was basically in the same seat than Sunday, I didn’t get much confetti at the end. People were more into it on Thursday night, at least around me.
She was more talkative that night. When the show ended you could see her hugging and kissing her dancers as a sign of victory. I enjoyed this concert very much!!
Hopefully she’ll be back in a few years because no one can tell her…to stop!!!
