Warner to Settle Maverick Lawsuit?

Guy O, Ronnie Dashev and posse said to be huddled in New York this week with Warner Music Group brass to talk possible settlement of the Maverick conflict.

Did the recent Delaware court decision in Maverick?s favor, which consolidated both lawsuits in California, have anything to do with WMG returning to the bargaining table? The general consensus is that a settlement would involve WMG writing a sufficiently large check to convince the Maverick stakeholders to part with the label.

Notably, Madonna was reportedly unable to break away from her sold-out tour to attend the meetings.
