Xclusive Preview – Madonna mentioned on presentation notes of Pausini’s album
MadonnaTribe had the chance to have a look at the presentation notes of Laura Pausini‘s new album where Madonna is of course mentioned for the song she gave Laura.
A surprise list of the artists that sung songs written by Madonna is also included in these notes. We translated some of these notes from Italian for our readers.
“Mi abbandono a te represents the meeting of two worlds; the ones of big international pop and melody
The song is a true gift, as the people who were given a song penned by Madonna are very few. Among them Nick Kamen and Each
time you break my heart, Donna DeLory and her Just a dream, Gary
Barlow and Love won’t wait, Ricky Martin with Be careful (my heart) and last but not least Britney Spears and Me against the music.
A true perfectionist as ever Mrs Ritchie gave Laura the freedom to write lyrics that she could feel her own. And Laura, with the same perfectionism, gave Rick Nowels, who worked with Dido, Ronan Keating, Geri Halliwell and Rod Stewart, a song with a totally international flavour.”
And here’s some production notes for the Track. Mi abbandono a te with Lyrics by Madonna / Laura Pausini and music by Rick Nowels is produced and arranged by Rick Nowels himself.
The song also features additional production by John Themis who also arranged the Orchestral elements that are present in this Italian/Spanish version of “Like A Flower” that recall “The Power Of Goodbye”.
