Xtina’s models: Madonna, Marilyn and Mary Poppins

Christina Aguilera claims her role model is Julie Andrews.

The ‘Dirrty’ singer has revealed the musical actress – most famous for playing a singing nun in ‘The Sound Of Music’ and sugar sweet nanny ‘Mary Poppins‘ – inspired her when she was younger.

She confessed: “My first real influence was Julie Andrews.”

However, Christina admits that she now looks up to more likely role models.

She revealed: “I look up to Madonna. How many years did she get ‘Worst Dressed’? Now they are praising her for it. It’s screwy.

“And I’m obsessed with Marilyn Monroe. She was called every name in the book, but she kept on with it. She was strong, just like Madonna. They used their sexuality to their advantage. I have to be as strong as both of them.”
