60 Breakdancers used in the Hung Up video
Our reporter in London has sent in some exclusive details about Madonna‘s up coming video, Hung Up.
Part of the video, which is already being described by some insiders as one of her best ever, was filmed in a section called Space of London’s Trocadero palace last Monday. Apparently it was a long shoot, starting at 6am and finishing at close to midnight. It over ran massively time wise because of the shots they wanted to grab.
The video features 60 US breakdancers that were in the UK for the B Boy Championships breakdancing competition. The US dancers all wore yellow and black tracksuits for the shoot and said it was an amazing day.
A stunt double for Madonna was used for some of the more acrobatic scenes that included breakdancing flips and jumps that Madonna wasn’t obviously able to perform herself due to her recent accident. But don’t think the lady is standing still in her new video as the day before the shoot she stunned staff at a some London studios by rehearsing her dance routines non-stop for 8 hours.
