A portrait from Madonna’s Art Collection

Our friend Gam informs us about an interesting Madonna tidbit.

Pictured below is the cover of Joe Henry‘s 1992 album Short Man’s Room.
Joe used a portrait by artist John Kriby that recalls the works of Edward Hopper.

Madonna collects the work of Hopper but judging from the album’s credits she is also the owner of this painting:
“Cover painting – “Family Ties” by John Kirby,
used with the kind permission of John Kirby, The Angela Flowers Gallery and Madonna Ciccone. Edward Hopper is also the author of world famous painting “Girlie Show“, dated 1941.
