Birthday bash in Moscow
Madonna fans in Moscow will have a chance to celebrate the birthday of the Queen of Pop on August 16th at the Green & Brown cafe – starting at 7 pm.
Our friend Rinat sent this story and the images below (click to enlarge) to show fellow Tribers how Russian fans had big fun during last year’s celebration.
“We always celebrate Madonna’s birthday in Russian tradition for two days or more” Rinat writes. “And last party was no exception. Lots of Madonna fans were from Moscow as usual and a few more from other cities (like me). We spent the first day, on August 15th, in a sport bar, rehearsing the main show we had the next day.
The second day, August 16th, was really incredible!
Baur organized the party in a cafè and invited a dance group to perform. The venue was full of very different people. Fans occupied a big table while the rest of the venue was occupied by people we didn’t know but who all seemed to like Madonna.
At the beginning, the show host introduced the party speaking about Madonna’s life and career. The we had several performance by the impersonators, Frozen, American Life, Express Yourself, Music and last but not least the Like A Virgin/Hollywood medley à la VMAs. There was also a big Madonna birthday cake at the end for eveyone to enjoy.”
