Can I have a cup of tea, ehmm… Madonna?

Madonna was mistaken for a receptionist when British author James Jackson paid her visit to her director husband Guy Ritchie‘s office to deliver a script, Contacmusic reports.

The aspiring scribe failed to recognise the pop icon when he met her in person and asked if she would make him a cup of tea – only to be embarrassed when her identity was finally revealed.

He says, “I went into the office and there was a small lady sitting in a chair, so I asked her for a cup of tea. When I later found out it was Madonna, I was just a little bit embarrassed! I did wonder why she looked a bit vague when I asked her.”
