It appears the Material Girl is trying to cash in on her new project by following the same format of her successful albums.
“It’s all dance music,” she recently revealed to MTV.com. “No ballads, no slow songs.”
Madge’s last album, American Life, debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200, but had the lowest sales of any Madonna album to date, selling a measly 656,000 copies in the U.S.
She’s hooking up with French producer Mirwais Ahmadzai, whom she worked with on both her Music and American Life albums, as well as Stuart Price, the musical director of her Reinvention Tour.
She’s also experimenting with Swedish duo Christian Karlsson and Pontus Winnberg, known as Bloodshy & Avant. The pair were made famous after writing and producing Britney’s single “Toxic.”
Look for Madonna’s record in November, followed by a 2006 summer tour.
