Children in Need enlist Madonna
Madonna will join a host of stars to help raise money for BBC Children in Need on tonight, Friday November 18, performing live during the seven-hour telethon, which hopes to beat the record total of ?34.2m raised last year.
Presenter Terry Wogan said: “It’s another show jam-packed with money-raising madness.” The evening will be co-hosted by newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky and Top of the Pops presenter Fearne Cotton.
As usual there are a number of events taking place around the country and every penny raised goes directly to children and young people in need across the UK.
The casts of Casualty, EastEnders and Emmerdale are also taking part.
The BBC Children in Need Appeal begins at 7 pm on BBC One.
