Hung Up debuts at #59 in the chart of the best selling singles in Japan with 2,008 copies sold. It’s the highest new entry for an international single. We must keep in mind that it’s very rare for singles by International artists to debut in high positions.
This is Madonna’s 28th single in the Oricon’s Top 100 chart and this is an absolute record for both a female and a male artist or a group.
At #2 there’s Paul Mcartney with 27 singles that entered the top 100.
