Glamour New York Style Exhibit
The Bob Mackie evening dress and fox stole: White bugle beads and fur, worn by Madonna at 1991 Academy Awards is on display at the Museum of the city of New York. This gown and a couple dozen more are part of “Glamour, New York Style,” an exhibition that looks at Gotham’s love of glitz dating from the first presidential parties to the MTV Video Music Awards. The show, provides a history lesson on what it has meant to be glamorous in New York.
