Hung Up going strong in Israel
Our correspondent from Israel, David Kawena informs us on how Madonna is doing on Israeli radio.
“Hi everyone at MadonnaTribe! Just wanted to let you know that “Hung Up” (radio edit) is heavily played on Israeli radio stations – Especially MTV Radio!. 2 days ago was the first time I heard the song on radio while I was in the car. The broadcasting lady said “And now for some 80’s music!” and then they played this cool re-mix of “Gimmie! Gimmie! Gimmie!” by ABBA I thought to myself – “O.K. Now they gotta have Hung Up after this one!” – Not only that they did, They aired it continuously mixed to end of Gimmie! like one long track! It was so cool… I turned the volume up so that everyone out side the car could hear Hung Up!
After the song ended the radio lady said – How fun is it, that Madonna got back into making ‘meaningless’ cool songs, right?! That’s the way we love her! Ride on Madonna!!
