Hung Up Promo DMD Single

Here’s a first look at the DMD Single for Madonna’s “Hung Up“.

With a catalogue number of PRO-CD-101648, the cover does not feature Madonna but a montage of the logo designed by Giovanni Bianco that also appears on the cover of the upcoming album revealed a few days ago by madonna.com and a handwritten text of the song’s title, “Hung Up“.

Please keep in mind that the artwork for promo cds (especially advanced promos) is usually different from the one of the commercial releases.

It is not clear what the term “DMD” stands for, but it looks likely that the artwork will be used for both promo cds (hence the promo code on the top right corner of the sleeve) and to illustrate the digital download that Warner Music Group plans to make available together with the commercial cd release. Digital singles are indeed labeled as DMD on some online music catalogues.
