Hung Up tops iTunes Music Stores charts worldwide

Barely two days in its release as DMD song on iTunes, “Hung Up” already topped the top 100 music downloads list of more than half of iTunes sites across the globe!

This is the list as of October 18, 4:30 pm GMT:

Madonna – Hung Up – DMD Single

• #1 in: Spain, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, UK, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Norway.

• #2 in: Switzerland.

• #3 in: Luxemburg.

• #4 in: Austria and the US.

It is an amazing feature for “Hung Up” to break in the Top 5 in America when it is currently perceived to be where dance music isn’t as popular as ever.

It is also worthy to note that iTunes currently has 20 download sites worldwide and “Hung Up” is at the top 4 spots in 16 of them and #1 in 12 of its sites.
