Jonas Akerlund: ‘This is the biggest thing I’ve done’
There is an article about the private screening of “I’m Going To Tell You A Secret” you can find in today’s Aftonbladet.
Akerlund: The biggest thing I’ve done
In the new documentary Madonna tells us she’s grown up. But she still knows how to party.
Last Tuesday Madonna attended the premiere party of her new documentary along with Jonas Akerlund and Johan Renck among others in New York.
“I’m going to tell you a secret“, as the documentary directed by Jonas Akerlund is called, premieres on MTV USA tomorrow.
Renck was there
Madonna and Åkerlund had invited a couple of celebrities for a private screening in New York last tuesday. “It went very well, people stood up and screamed during the movie”, says Jonas Akerlund.
Among the guests was Swedish Johan Renck.
“I’ve been focusing on this movie for such a long time now, and it was rewarding to be able to watch it with other people”, says Jonas Akerlund.
The guests were according to a source treated with alot less controversy than what was seen in “Truth or Dare” from 1991.
“I’m a completely different person today. I’m married and I have children, so don’t expect any Evian bottles”, Madonna tells MTV – refering to the scene in “Truth or dare” where she simulates oral sex with an Evian bottle.
Luxurious party
After the movie a party was held at a luxurious hotel on Manhattan. “In a way this is the biggest thing I’ve done”, says Jonas Akerlund.
Sweden’s probably largest online music store Poplife.se made “Hung Up” available today and it went straight to #1!
The single is already in heavy rotation on the Swedish radio stations as well. Sweden’s leading evening paper Aftonbladet put in a short news-item yesterday saying they loved Hung Up, probably just to put Madonna in the paper! In short, Sweden is hung up about Madonna!
