Jump premiered at G-A-Y tonight!
“Wow. Tonight’s set at G-A-Y was pretty much the same as Koko (i.e. fantastic!!)…until the end where Everybody merged with Jump to become a killer 3 minutes of unbridled joy” – Daniel writes in the MadonnaTribe Forum.
“She had some great interaction with the audience, including a demand that the front row took their shirts off in her honour.
She also told the crowd that “Get Together” was written for us (gays – we love our anthems!) and that it would kick the ass of “Hung Up“.
She was a total tease, and she knew we loved it! She made the audience scream their appreciation for her work more than once and we all went along like puppies wagging our tails. She did her “scream” during “I Love New York” just as she did at Koko, and “Let It Will Be” was accompanied again with the utterly fabulous dance montage featuring the Red Dress. Someone had the audacity to throw their shirt at her after she demanded they take it off, and she threw it back screeching that it would smell which made us all love her more. Hell, everything she did made us love her more!
She emerged from behind two screens which showed a huge disco ball, which parted to reveal a glittery tunnel like the inside of the ball (it didn’t work so well at Koko from the angle I saw it!) and at the end she went between the two video screens and said thank you which was cool.
Thanks to G-A-Y for making it happen!!”
Special thanks to Daniel.
