Just like Madonna
It is always nice to see how deep the presence of Madonna is in the contemporary culture as mentions of her Iconic image keep coming from the most different places. There’s a tiny mention of her today in an article about soprano Harolyn Blackwell who’s going to play as “Olympia, the living doll” in “The Tales of Hoffmann” at the Seattle Opera starting May 7.
Talking about her character, Blackwell told The Seattle Times:
“Tales of Hoffmann” is going to be a lot of fun to see. For one thing, I get to wear long fingernails, a gold wig and a gold bustier – just like Madonna!”
