Live Aid 20 Years Ago Today is out in Europe
Last months we informed our readers that Madonna and her 1985 performance of “Holiday” in Philadelphia were going to be one of the highlights featured in a special single disc DVD edition of the Live Aid concert, to be released by Warners on the 20th anniversary of the event and to coincide with today’s “Live 8” concerts.
“Live Aid: 20 Years Ago Today” presents 52 minutes of music and videos from artists such as U2, Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney, Queen, David Bowie, The Pretenders, The Who, Elton John, Santana, Madonna, Tom Petty, Sting, Bob Dylan and many more.
“Live Aid: 20 Years Ago Today (Ltd Edition)” is already available in Europe and will be released on July 12 in the US. The suggested retail price of this single disc edition in the US $9.99 and of €15 in Europe. The 4-disc “Live Aid” boxset was originally released in November, 2004.
