Liz Rosenberg speaks about lawsuit

Liz Rosenberg commented on the lawsuit between Madonna and her longtime art consultant Darlene Lutz

The summons filed in Manhattan Supreme Court and made public on Friday says Lutz owes Madonna money based on a settlement agreement made between the two women in May 2004.

“The lawsuit is based on a breach of contract agreement,” said Liz Rosenberg, who is Madonna’s spokeperson.

The New York Post adds further details: Liz Rosenberg said the reason Madonna is burning up is because Lutz sold one of the paintings from her mammoth art collection “years ago,” but has yet to pass on the cash.

“Madonna has been waiting for a long time to collect the money from the sale of the painting,” Rosenberg said.
