Lotsa de Casha already available in the UK
“Lotsa de Casha“, Madonna’s fifth children’s book, will be released in the US next week but has been made available already in the UK where it has been released by Puffin Books on June 2nd.
“Lotsa” follows international bestsellers “The English Roses”, “Mr. Peabody’s Apples”, “Jakov and The Seven Thieves”, and “The Adventures of Abdi”.

Portuguese muralist Rui Paes, who is best known for his frescoes at the historical Munkebakken house in Oslo, Norway, illustrated the beautiful 48-page jacketed hardback, written for readers aged six and up. talking about his experience of working with the author, Paes said that “Madonna has a visual awareness that allows her to see beyond the surface, and that is very rewarding for an artist.”
Madonna made publishing history with the global release of her first children’s book, “The
English Roses“, published simultaneously in 30 languages in more than 100 countries in 2003. It was the fastest selling children’s picture book ever in the UK, with 165,000 books sold before Christmas. It also debuted at no. 1 on the New York Times Book Review children’s best-seller list and remained on the list for 18 weeks. “The English Roses” is now available in 40 languages worldwide.
