Madonna Circa 1930

Here’s a nice story from MadonnaTribe’s vaults.
M-Tribe reader Rik wrote to share an interesting story with us: “I have in my possession a piece of music
entitled ‘For you Madonna‘, with a photograph on the front of someone
who looks uncannily like Madonna. It was published in 1935 at the
grand price of 6 old English pence. I picked it up in a local
secondhand book shop for a few modern English pence.

I really think the lady should be given the option to have it, she’ll
either love it or throw it in the bin.”

Rik would really like Madonna to have this sheet music. We hope he’ll soon find a way to send it to her. In the meantime thanks for sharing this story with The Tribe
