Madonna debuts ‘Hung Up’
Madonna is to perform her new single live for the first time at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2005 in Portugal, it has emerged.
The pop superstar will air “Hung Up” to the crowd at the ceremony in Lisbon, Portugal on November 3, before the official release four days later.
The 14th annual EMAs will also feature performances from Coldplay, Robbie Williams, Foo Fighters, Green Day and Black Eyed Peas. Coldplay and Gorillaz lead the way in nominations, with both competing for five prizes.
According to her official website, Madonna‘s performance in Lisbon will coincide with a number of other promotional events in Europe during the run-up to the release of “Hung Up”.
Madonna’s new album, “Confessions On A Dancefloor“, produced by Jacques Lu Cont – is out on November 14.
