Madonna in MTV Europe Awards return
She might still be recovering from her horse riding accident, but Madonna is getting straight back in the saddle with a big performance pencilled in her diary.
The singer has announced that her first stage appearance since her horseriding fall will be at the MTV Europe Awards in Lisbon on November 3.
The queen of pop will take to the stage to perform the worldwide debut of her new single, Hung Up. Practising dance moves might be off the agenda at the moment, but she’s sure to be busy warming up her vocal chords for the nerve-wracking gig.
The queen of pop fell from her horse in August, breaking several bones in the process. She suffered three cracked ribs, a broken collarbone and a broken hand in the accident at the star’s Ashercombe House home on the Wiltshire-Dorset border. The multi-million selling singer has asserted that she will return to horseriding as soon as her injuries have healed.
Madonna is due to release new album in November, with the single out prior to it. Meanwhile, she may be trying to get the undisputed queen of daytime television, Oprah Winfrey into Kabbalah. She has apparently been talking up the mystical belief to Oprah for some years. And if the influential Oprah followed Madonna in her beliefs, Kabbala would suddenly gain a lot of new followers. Insiders believe that Madonna has decided to give her first interview since her horse accident to Oprah in the hope of winning her over.
Madonna has even let Winfrey’s cameras into her country manor home.
