Madonna set a new record in the UK download charts with her “Hung Up” by staying in the top spot for seven week in a row, sawing off competition from rapper Eminem, who was a new entry at number two with “When I’m Gone”.
Other new entries this week include Coldplay at 23 with “Talk”, Girls Aloud at number 29 with “See The Day”, Charlotte Church at 30 with “Even God Can’t Change The Past”, and Franz Ferdinand at 37 with “Walk Away”.
