Madonna Parties With New York Hip Kids!
When was the last time you heard about the Grand Dame of Pop hitting a club where mere mortals were allowed to boogie-woogie?
Well just two days ago at tiny indie hipster club MisShapes in New York Madonna hit the dancefloor and got sweaty with a load of twenty-somethings. It was not a guest list event, there was no red rope, in fact, you could have been there – and no doubt you would’ve been if you lived in NYC and were over the age of 21!
Anyway, Madonna rocked up with her mate Stuart Price, who was scheduled to DJ that night along with DJ Junior Sanchez.
According to various eyewitness reports Madge waltzed in through the front door with a 12 strong entourage and headed straight for the upstairs DJ booth where she introduced her new single and then proceeded to dance the night away.

We have to admit our love for Madonna was on the wane, what with her love for tweed, children’s stories and all that kabbalah nonsense, but after these pics of her partying like a normal person, we’ve found our affections for Madge rejuvenated!
Plus her new ABBA-sampling single is kick ass!
That also helps her cause!

• Madonna DJs at New York club
Madonna has made a surprise guest DJ appearance at a New York club to debut songs from her new album “Confessions On A Dancefloor“. The star appeared at MisShapes party at the club Luke And Leroy in the West Village on Saturday doing a 30-minute DJ set with her producer Stuart Price, aka Jacques Lu Cont. She was also accompanied by Maverick Records chairman Guy Oseary, her manager Angela Becker, her publicist Liz Rosenberg and close pal Lenny Kravitz.
Madonna told the packed crowd via microphone, “You all have to relax and have fun and we’re going to play you some really good songs!” which was followed by the small audience’s thunderous applause. Also with Madonna was one of her remixers, DJ Junior Sanchez, who said, “Madonna DJing MisShapes was inevitable, with such a refreshing, young, cutting edge new album, she had to expose it to the most refreshing young night in New York.”
As Madonna and Price played records and danced in the DJ booth, Sanchez went on to say, “Getting her to connect with today’s and tomorrow’s nightlife is where she needs to be because that is where she has always been.” The MisShapes, Geordon Nicol, Leigh Lezark and Greg.k, are as well known for their weekly event and as a DJ team as they are for the myriad of celebrity guests that have chosen to DJ the party.
