Madonna Performing at KOKO
Madonna is finally Live from KOKO, after a performance of Hung Up very similar to the one of the MTV awards in Lisbon, she sang Get Together.
Before introducing the third song, I Love New York, she explained to the public that although she wrote a song called I Love NY she also loves London or she wouldn’t live there. The song is dedicated to the city where she learned to survive and citing one of her Bedtime Stories album songs she added “It’s all about survival”
After thanking her fans for waiting for her in the cold (That’s a very NY state of mind) she sang a live version of Let it will be, the sixth song on her new album.
The fifth and last song of the night (as announced earlier today by M-Tribe) is Everybody from her first album.Madonna said the song is special because she performed at the same venue the previous time she was there. This performance brings us back to the Virgin Tour when the Queen used to ask the audience to sing along with her the “Dance And Sing” part of the song.
An new interview of Madonna talking about the first time she played in London is now on as part of a backstage documentary on the creation of the Koko show.
