Madonna said no to MadonnaMania

Our friend Fernando Scopadore from fellow fansite MadonnaOnline Brazil informs us that Uk Magazine New reports this week that the production of Madonna Mania tried to invite Madonna herself to the show, but she declined the invitation.

The show, that will be screened in a few weeks time (April 16) on ITV, will see a series of British singers performing Madonna‘s biggest hits but apparently the Queen of pop didn’t like the idea that much.

An unidentified source close to Madonna apparently declared to the magazine that she is very busy with other projects and she doen’t like these types of homages, especially when she is so far away from retirement.
