• FRANCE “Confessions” goes up from #113 to #1 selling 140,000 copies in a week. It is the 6th Madonna album to reach the top of the chart in France – all of her albums made the Top 10. Madonna 8 #1 Albums: 6 “Hung Up” remains on top of the singles chart, the Ray of Light/Music/American Life boxset is still at #174. American Life drops one place in the mid-price album chart.
