Patrick Hernandez: My eight months with Madonna

MadonnaTribe contributor Maurice has sent a clipping from another vintage French magazine. This article appeared in “OK” and is about musician Patrick Hernandez talking about how he met and worked with Madonna in her early years.

One of the most interesting things that Hernandez uses to tell about Madonna‘s strong personality is that she seemed to refuse to sing at all as she wanted to have her own career as a dancer only. “She knew exactly what she wanted and was never accepting any compromise. She was a diva even before becoming a star”. The magazine also featured a classic shot from the 1986 Official Calendar photo session, apparently that was the first time that the picture appeared in the French press.
