While entering Bergdorf Goodman‘s last night, Madonna was informed of the death of actress Anne Bancroft.
“I’m really sorry to hear that, I was a big fan of hers” she commented to Portuguese channel RTP1.

Mel Brooks is remembered for her Mrs Robinson role in “The Graduate“.
She died of cancer at age 73.
